In this new ongoing series, I hope to share with you some of my
latest tastings…whether that’s food or beverage items I’ve taste tested; or, a
cooking class I’ve participated in or observed; or, a restaurant I’ve reviewed;
or, a new recipe I’ve created with some of the food items I’m reviewing. I’m just a basic home cook that enjoys
reviewing, tasting, testing, and creating.
For my recipes, you’ll notice that they generally don’t include exact
measurements, as I tend to cook “old school” and rely heavily on my senses. I hope you enjoy each segment…this is a work
in progress, and just like some of my culinary creations, I often surprise
myself with a favorable outcome…and then, too, sometimes the results aren’t
stellar...real life, folks. Enjoy!

Flavor Chef 100% Certified Organic Bone Broth, Chicken Bone
Broth, Grass Fed Beef Bone Broth, and Chicken Bone Broth Soup with Coconut,
Ginger, Mint, and Lemon ~ Bone broth is a nutrient-dense
by-product of slowly cooking bones and marrow and other ingredients; the longer
the cooking process, the more flavorful and rich the broth becomes. Flavor
Chef has mastered the art of making proper Bone Broth that maximizes the natural flavors and rich mineral content,
making for a very delicious and healthy product. Flavor
Chef only uses grass fed animal bones, organic ingredients like vegetables,
fruits, and aromatic seasonings; the cooking process is done over a very low
heat for as long as twenty-four hours, which maximizes the intensity of flavors
and nutrients, including natural collagen and gelatin. Watch as it’s made…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmFREEpknIo

Jovial Foods 100% Certified Organic Einkorn All-Purpose Flour
and 100% Certified Organic Einkorn Wheat Berries ~ Einkorn
is the world’s most ancient wheat and is a nutrient-dense whole grain that’s packed with more nutrients, vitamins, and
dietary minerals than traditional wheat.
It also has 40% more protein and 15% less starch than commercial wheat, and
is rich in B Vitamins, plus trace minerals, like iron. Einkorn All-Purpose Flour is organically grown on small farms in
Italy and doesn’t contain any GMOs. In using the flour, I found its texture to
be light and was very silky; its color also reminded me of honeysuckle yellow.

Culinary curiosity is an adventure, whose path leads to enjoyment. Am I the best cook around, probably not, but,
I’m sure enjoying myself trying out new foods; developing my own recipes; going
to cooking classes, meeting other home cooks, and learning new techniques and
tips; and, experiencing new restaurants.
Lastly, when it comes to your culinary pursuits, be adventurous and
fearless…you never know what you might discover along the way.
That’s it for this edition.
Until the next one, remember to always celebrate yourself and your
culinary curiosity. Happy creating…happy
cooking…happy eating!
